His scent stays on the dog
November 8, 2026
The poster was printed. The date was set. Saturday, 5 December, Wiesbadener Weihnachtszirkus: Kemal “King Kong Kemal” Salih against John “The Dog” Dagrin.
It will not happen on that night. Salih has an injury to his right hand and had to pull out, and with no opponent across the ring, John is no longer part of All-Star Fight Night.
Injuries are part of this sport, and nobody who has laced up gloves wishes one on anybody. Heal up properly, Kemal. Take the time it takes.
But understand this
John does not forget a fight he has already trained for in his head. He has studied the name and pictured the walk, and he wants that fight. When the hand is right, he would very much like to finish what the poster started.
You can leave the yard. A dog that has picked up a scent does not stop thinking about it.
His scent stays on the dog.
In the meantime
John is 3–0 with three stoppages, working as a free agent with Coach Nick Lavigne at Brook City Boxing Gym, and he is ready for whatever fight comes next. Any opponent. Any card. Bring the contract.
