Overheard in the hallway: Stuart, John and the Rhine River Rhinos

November 8, 2026

John W. Dagrin and Stuart Truppner in conversation at a game day in Wiesbaden

Some of the best conversations in this city happen in a sports hall corridor.

This one was between Stuart Truppner and John W. Dagrin, and the subject was a club that deserves far more people talking about it: the Rhine River Rhinos.

If you have not seen them yet, fix that. The Rhinos play wheelchair basketball in the 1. Bundesliga, have been in the top flight since 2016, and won the EuroCup 2 in 2025. They are elite competitors in a fast and physical sport, and their home is the Rhinos Dome at Platz der Deutschen Einheit, right in the middle of Wiesbaden.

So what is going on?

Honestly: talks. Stuart & Friends stands behind the club, and together with Stuart we are exploring what Dagrin Corporation could add for the seasons ahead. Nothing has been signed, nothing has been announced, and the Rhinos will speak for themselves when there is something to say.

What we can tell you is that John came home from that game with a very particular look on his face. He gets the same one before a fight.

Watch this space. And in the meantime, go to a home game.
