New corner: John ‘The Dog’ Dagrin moves to Brook City Boxing Gym
November 8, 2026

Every fighter reaches a point where the next step means changing rooms.
John ‘The Dog’ Dagrin has made his. After starting his professional career with Black Wolves Fight Club, where he went 3–0 with three knockouts, John now trains at Brook City Boxing Gym in Wiesbaden-Biebrich, with Coach Nick Lavigne in his corner. He leaves with respect and gratitude for everyone who helped him get those first three wins.
The coach
Nicholas Lavigne, known around the gym as Nicky Mitts, is the head coach and owner of Brook City. It is a real boxing room: American flag on the wall, English spoken on the floor, the logo painted across the canvas, and fighters on their way to their own debuts. John’s new daily routine is simple. Show up, get corrected, go again.

Free agent
John is now working as a free agent, with Coach Nick as his trainer. That means he can say yes to the right opportunity wherever it comes from. Matchmakers and promoters: he is looking for open fights, and he is happy to travel.
The plan
There is nothing complicated about it. Entertain the people. Get better, step by step. Stack the rounds and the experience that three early knockouts could not give him. And do all of it with one intention, said out loud so that there is no walking it back:
World champion.
